Breakfast Menu
As we say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The choice of a breakfast meal varies from location to location. A typical breakfast will include a carbohydrate-rich food such as cereal, a protein-rich food such as eggs or meat and fruit, usually served with tea, coffee, milk or fruit juice.
A common example of a western breakfast would include hot or cold beverages, breakfast cereals, sausages, eggs, toast, and fruit to name a few.
A continental breakfast would consist of a hot and cold beverage served with a variety of sweet cakes which include brioche or a pastry such as a croissant. It may also include cold meats and yogurt or cereal as well as fruit and cheese.
The further East you go, the choice of breakfast is very different to that of the Western countries.
In India, almost each state has different breakfast specialties and there is a significant difference between North Indian and South Indian food.
A typical North Indian, or Gujarati breakfast usually consists of Ghatia, Jalebi, Dhokla, Marcha and Sambharo all served with masala chai.
A Punjabi breakfast will typically include a type of paratha, samosa, pakora, mithaai again served with masala tea.
